BETHEL – The 7th Annual Gardening Fair, sponsored by the UCONN Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program and the Connecticut Master Gardener Association will take place August 15 from 12:30 to 5pm on the grounds of the Fairfield County Extension Center.
Garden Design is the theme of this year’s Fair and multiple presentations will be made by gardening experts on various design elements including the use of shrubs, water, native plants and containers. Information booths manned by master gtardeners will also be set up covering a variety of garden topics including organic turf care, composting and growing herbs and vegetables. The free event will also include a variety of garden demonstrations throughout the day and also offer free soil testing.
